The method for rendering vehicle information includes receiving a request for information from an application from a user device. The request identifies the application that requests vehicle information. A filter is applied to determine whether the requested data is permissible information. The permissible information includes information for which the vehicle is authorized to issue to the user device. A format type of information for output to the user device is determined. A quality level of information to provide to the user device is determined. The quality of information as a function of variable parameters in response to the requested information is permitted information is determined. The vehicle information is processed as a function of the quality of information and the format type of information. The processed vehicle information is displayed to the user device.
