New nonbinary sequences with ideal two-level autocorrelation function

New families of nonbinary sequences of period p/sup n/-1 with symbols from a finite field F/sub p/ for any p/spl ges/3 are constructed with two-level ideal autocorrelation functions. Difference sets with parameters (p/sup n/-1/p-1, p/sup n-1/-1/p-1, p/sup n-2/-1/p-1) can also be derived from these sequences in a natural way.
