Electronic properties of cerium and uranium compounds with HoCoGa5-type tetragonal structure

Relativistic energy band calculations have been carried out for CeIrIn5, CeCoIn5, UFeGa5, UCoGa5 and URhGa5 under the assumption that f electrons are itinerant. The main Fermi surface sheet of CeIrIn5 is quite similar to that of CeCoIn5, which is a quasi-two-dimensional Fermi surface. The Fermi surface sheets of UCoGa5 are quite similar to those of URhGa5, which are all small in size and closed in topology. UFeGa5 has a quasi-two-dimensional Fermi surface and a lattice-structure-like Fermi surface.
