Thepurpose ofthepresent workistodescribe thedesign andimplementation of an innovating andflexible architecture ofanelectronic device thatallows usto perform Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)modulation onaFPGA.Inaddition tothat, itis themainpurpose ofthis paper tohighlight theversatility of thehardware implemented, which isideal fortheSoftwareDefined Radiotechnology. Thearchitecture presented is based ontheDirect Digital Synthesis (DDS)theory andis implemented usinga hardware description language (VDHL)code. Theoutcome oftheimplementation isa portable, scalable, quickly adaptable andconfigurable system which supplies ahigh quality signal.
