Serum CA‐125 elevation associated with ovarian endometriosis

A 39-year-old woman with an adnexal mass and serum CA-125 level of 1030 IU ml−1 was found to have pelvic adhesions and an ovarian endometrioma. This case demonstrates that significant CA-125 elevation even in the presence of an adnexal mass is not always associated with ovarian malignancy.
