Bifurcations of Smooth and Non-Smooth Travelling Wave Solutions of the Degasperis-Procesi Equation

The dynamical behaviour and exact special solutions of Degasperis-Procesi equation are studied by bifurcation theory of dynamical systems to show the reason why the peakon arises.
