A Study of Population-Environment Dynamics

Abstract Systems engineering deals with a large complex system, “problematique”, which do not lie in any single branch of science or technology but involve an interdisciplinary field. The Population-Environment Dynamics combines a technology and political science to build a model of Japanese population system. The social problems occasioned by the rapid changes in structure of population and environment relations over the past several years have catapuled the population issue into a prominent position in all regional planning processes. With the newfound realization of the importance of Population-Environment Dynamics in virtually every aspect of an industrialized society came a recognition of an almost total lack of knowledge concerning the complex interrelationships involved. The relation between population and environment forming feedback loop structure, therefore, the Population-Environment Dynamics have been employed to analyze a variety of population related problems for environment
