Genetic Variability in Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae) II. Mutations Causing Structural Modifications

In the course of an inbreeding program to analyze heterozygosity in Aedes aegypti (L.) 30 inherited factors causing modifications of body structures were isolated. These include modifications of the antennae (4), palpi (5), legs (4), proboscis (2), wings (13), genitalia (1), and body proportions (1). Some information on mode of inheritance of these factors is given. Many of them are available for use as marker genes.
