Airfoil design of a micro-flapping wing based on CFD

The airfoil design of a flapping wing is lucubrated from the perspective of airfoil design based on Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD).A 3-D structured grid adapting for simulation of viscous flow over flapping wing based on the transfinite interpolation is developed,and the preconditioned 3-D compressible unsteady Navier-Stokes equations are employed by finite volume method and dual-time stepping method.As the computational results are in better agreement with the references data[7],the method given in this paper is correct and reliable.On this basis,the influences of the correlative parameters of a mixed foil introduced by the reference[8] which effect on the aerodynamic characteristics of the flapping wing are analyzed.
