Measurements of dislocation pinning and dislocation damping in cold-worked copper at 1 hz

Measurements of the temperature dependence of modulus and damping arecarried out simultaneously on cold-worked polycrystalline copper at 1 Hz. The distance of only 2.5 K between the measuring temperatures gives a good resolution of the pinning stages and damping peaks and allows the study of the influence of pretreatment of the samples and degree of deformation upon these effects. An plastisch verformtem polykristallinem Kupfer werden gleichzeitige Messungen der Temperaturabhangigkeit des Moduls und der Dampfung im 1 Hz-Bereich durchgefuhrt Der Abstand der Mestemperaturen von nur 2,5 K gestattet es, die Verankerungsstufen und Dampfungsmaxima gut aufzulosen und den Einflus der Probenvorbehandlung und des Verformungsgrades auf diese Erscheinungen zu untersuchen.
