Recently, technology using Ubiquitous-sensor-network comes into wide use. Micro-system’s development causes the advent of a smart sensor that is called an intelligent sensor because it exceeds a normal sensor’s idea to detect target signal or information. A normal sensor has a function of detecting Raw-data but a smart sensor has advanced functionality and architecture. In case the sensor data is bulky, the high data rate PHY and MAC protocols are needed even in the sensor networks. We designed and implemented the IEEE1451.5 WTIM board working on IEEE802.11n protocol. Five kinds of sensors are attached and the dual band (2.4 ㎓ and 5 ㎓) 802.11n abgn WiFi Module is integrated on the board.
