Proposal for an Australian Standard for the Structural Design of Farm Structures

This paper describes important features of the proposed Australian Standard for structural design of farm structures issued recently in a draft form for public comment by the Standards Association of Australia as DR84. This draft standard was prepared following a suggestion from the National Committee on Agricultural Engineering of the Institution of Engineers Australia and it is anticipated that it will be modified in the light of comments received. It is hoped to publish it as an Australian standard by early 1985.
