Design & Application of SCADA System in 1.25 MW Wind Farms

The supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA) system of 1.25 MW wind farm is used to perform data acquisition and control for each wind turbine in the farm,which has the functions of start/stop control,operating status display,temperature history display and wind rose display.The system has also the remote login function which makes it possible for the user to remotely browse and control the operation conditions of the wind turbine.The way of real-time data collecting and sectional storage may help to raise the speed of data collection and the reliability of data storage,which therefore can meet the supervision management requirement of wind farms.
