Shearing Test of Silt and Concrete Structure in Lianyungang Port Area

The cylindrical foundation structure slides correspondingly against soft soil foundation no matter whether it is in the process of penetration or normal working state.As an important parameter,the shear strength of soft soil or the friction coefficient between concrete structure and soft soil determines the penetrating power while the cylindrical structure is going down and the bearing capacity while it is in working state.The sliding experiment between the concrete slab and two kinds of silt sampled from Xuwei Port Area of Lianyungang Port is conducted.The trial result indicates that silt sampled is sheared broken by itself,the measured shear strength in this condition will provide references for related project design.
