Electronic Marketing: New Rules for Electronic Marketing - An Obstacle to M-Commerce?

Abstract In the past couple of years, huge sums have been spent on 3G licences and the service providers now want to recover their investments. Many have been looking at email marketing and location-specific text messaging to help drive the required revenues. But Brussels is about to re-write the rules on electronic marketing and serious questions are being asked about whether the new regime will give business the freedom it needs to develop m-commerce.
