A system concept for mobile and stationary teleservice applications

Teleservice describes the development of new concepts to find improved solutions for a worldwide, cost-effective, reliable and custom-oriented service, based on modern information and telecommunication technologies. The task of IMST within the project TeSMA (Teleservice fuer Maschinen und Anlagen), is the design and integration of a teleservice communication system, which is based on existing communication networks, to enable worldwide remote control and remote diagnosis of mobile and stationary working machines. This paper presents the system concept for the realisation of a teleservice communication system. The security concept suited for teleservice is also presented. This security concept allows secure transmission and controlled access of teleservice-relevant data (voice, data, pictures).
