Development of Delta as a First Step to a Knowledge Base Machine

Delta, a relational database machine is under development at ICOT (Institute for New Generation Computer Technology) to study knowledge base machines (KBMs). This paper focuses on its architecture especially on its specialized processor, RDBE (relational database engine) and also presents our approach to a knowledge base machine.
