Depression is a common form of childhood psychopathology in hearing as well as deaf or hard-of-hearing (DHH) children. In this study we examined i) the prevalence of self-reported symptoms of depression in DHH and hearing participants, and ii) the extent to which factors related to these levels of depression were comparable in both groups.
