Research on 2-DOF H_∞ Controller Design with Reference Model Feedforward for Command Tracking System

A strategy of two degrees of freedom(2-DOF) control combined with the method of reference model feedforward,which was applied to study on the design of command tracking controller for missile's longitudinal control system,was presented based on linear matrix inequality(LMI) convex optimization approach.2-DOF controller can be easily obtained based on LMI with this method.The controller enables the close-looped system to satisfy desired performance criterion and overcomes the blindness and complexity of conventional 2-DOF control.Besides,its simple design structure is easy for realization.Stimulation results show that the control system designed using this algorithm has remarkably better performance and the merits of rapid response speed,minor model tracking error and better characteristic.
