Development and Investigation of an Active Plasma Lens to Focus a Proton Beam for Light at Fair, Darmstadt

In view of the imminent completion of the accelerator center FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH) in 2024, the collaboration of the universities University Hansestadt Hamburg, Technical University Darmstadt and Goethe University Frankfurt is making it its task to use plasma sources as an application in particle physics establish.
