In this article,the static structure of an impeller is analyzed using finite element method.Firstly,UG is used to draw a solid model of the impeller.Then FLUENT is employed to simulate the distribution of oil pressure in the pump and element type solid187 is used to mesh the impeller in software ANSYS.By performing a structural static analysis,the stress distribution within the impeller can be clearly observed.As a result,stress concentration points will be easily found,and the reliability of the impeller is verified.The result attained from the analysis lays a foundation for further mode analysis and transient analysis of the impeller,and provides the necessary data for structure optimization of the impeller.
