A 25-Gb/s 20-km wavelength reused WDM system for mobile fronthaul applications

We demonstrate a bidirectional 25-Gb/s optical fronthaul system with colorless WDM transceiver at RRU based on REAM-SOA. With dicode/NRZ coding for downstream/upstream and enhanced equalization technique, 20-km single-fiber bidirectional fronthaul network is achieved.
