Positioning method and system for an intelligent terminal

The present invention provides a method and system for positioning an intelligent terminal, relates to the field of mobile positioning technology. The method comprising: collecting intelligent terminal accelerations at different times, and generating a graph of the time of acceleration; obtaining motion state and displacement of the intelligent terminal according to a graph of acceleration versus time; positioning mode selected according to the motion state of the intelligent terminal and displacement and by the positioning of the selected positioning mode, the positioning mode including base station location, positioning, and GPS positioning intelligent. The present invention is provided three positioning mode, the intelligent terminal can automatically switch modes according to its positioning and displacement state of motion, to ensure the positioning accuracy of the positioning also reduces power consumption, while meeting people work positioning accuracy and positioning consumption requirements.
