The effect of Smart Antennas (SA) in interference temperature estimation is discussed. Generally, most of estimation approachs on interference algorithms are based on the assumption that either the interference signals or the primary user's signals are no directions. This is a theory constraint that is not appropriate in TD-SCDMA. The SA based on which the directional beamforming of transmission/receving not only have the Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA) effect, but also have the effect to the value of interference temperature estimation. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that estimates the interference temperature of this model using a generalization of the Direction of Arrival (DOA) algorithm in TD-SCDMA. The simulation studies show that the method outperforms the Cognitive Radio (CR) user's the frequency spectrum efficiency and reducing the value of interference temperature estimation.
