Middle Infrared Continuous Zoom Optical System

The designing process of infrared continuous zoom system for cooling detector with staring focal plane array has been discussed and a mechanical compensation 5× continuous zoom optical system with compact size and low weight has been presented based on the requirements of pod-using.The spectral band of the system is 3～5 μm.and F# is 2.0.It can realize 30～150 mm continuous zoom with a short and smooth zoom path.In the whole zoom arrange it holds high image quality.The system has 7 lenses adopts secondary imaging structure.It has 100% cold shield efficiency and can reduce the radial size of the system.
