Case- and Confidence-Level-Based Significance Ordering of Multiple Factors

The significance ordering is one of the most important taches in researches concerned with multiple factors. Based on fuzzy cluster theory and significance principle in rough set theory, an objective method is proposed to determine the significance ordering of multiple factors, which is based on cases and fuzzy confidence levels. The procedures to abstract the significance of a factor from objective information are discussed in detail. An example is presented to show the application of the proposed method.
