Performance parameter experiment of cross flow fans and twisted angle optimization

A kind of self-built detection device of cross flow fan's performance parameters in the electric fireplace system is developed,and the working principles of its main parts are described.The performance parameter(the outlet velocity,air volume and fan speed)experiments of cross flow fans in the electric fireplace system with the straight blades and twisted blades are compared,which results showed the performance of cross flow fans with blades of 60° twisted angle is better than that of cross flow fans with straight blades.Meanwhile the flow field of cross flow fans with twisted blades is numerically simulated and the twisted angles of blades are optimized.The experimental test results were consistent with the numerical calculation results,which combination shall be an effective way for investigating the structure and improving the performance of cross-flow fans.
