Optimal Number of Secondary User Selection Algorithm Based on Minimizing the Error Detection Probability

Spectrum sensing is one of the key technologies in cognitive radio, and cooperative spectrum sensing can improve the spectrum sensing performance.Firstly the paper defines a modified error detection probability, then it focuses on the optimal number of secondary user to minimize the error detection probability based on energy detection under different thresholds and performs cooperative spectrum sensing according to the optimal number of secondary user.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm in the paper can greatly enhance the sensing performance compared to the traditional K/N rule.
