A Partial-User Analog Feedback Scheme in Multiuser MIMO Broadcast Channels

We investigate multiuser MIMO downlink Broadcast Channels (BC) under the impact of channel estimation error and imperfect channel state information analog feedback. A low- complexity Partial-User Analog Feedback (PU-AF) algorithm is proposed; and we show that multiuser MIMO BCs using PU-AF achieves full multiuser diversity and multiplexing gain; however the feedback overhead is reduced significantly. At low to moderate SNR region and under moderate uplink sum feedback rate constraint, PU-AF turns to be a promising technique in the standardization of next generation wireless systems.
