An Efficient Weighting Method for Nakagami-m Envelope Distribution Simulation

Existing Nakagami fading simulation methods have the drawbacks of low precision, long simulation time or poor adaptability. This paper proposes a weighting method to generate random sequences that obedience to arbitrary distribution with analytical expressions. The proposed method can be applied directly to Nakagami-m envelope distribution simulation. Results show that mean square error and normalized time complexity of the weighting method has obvious advantages over other typical methods, and the precision can be adjusted according to practical requirement.
