Study on dynamic models of cement calciner based on typical working conditions

The stable operation of the calciner is influenced by many variables, such as coal injection, raw material feeding, pulverizd coal calorific value, raw ingredients and so on. In the process of long-term operation, because of various of the working conditions, there are both discrete characteristics and continuous characteristics. They make the temperature of calciner difficult to control. To supply a base for calciner temperature control, based on the statistics of the field data and expert rules of the cement plant operators, the typical working reference point of the calciner operation and various types of working conditions are proposed. Thereafter, the dynamic models of the typical working conditions are established and the identification of various working conditions of calciner is studied on. Finally, the efficiency and applicability of the models are demonstrated by simulation results.
