Fast algorithm for streamline feature tracking based on topology-reconstruction

The formation and visualization of underwater streamline can help to improve the efficiency of numerical simulation during post processing stage.In the paper,the aim of this study is to simulate the continuous streamline in the groundwater seepage field.The core-topology and extensibility-topology to be reconstructed dynamically are researched.Some features have been extracted for streamline simulation in the complex field based on the finite model theory.And then,a fast and robust algorithm of streamline dynamic tracking is designed to calculate streamline and flow time.A concrete example of using the method to Beijing plain area shows that the method can implement the complex flow field simulation with/without the virtual wells to be exploited.
