Nonlinear dynamic inversion and LQ techniques

The contribution presented here for the HIRM design challenge consists of an explicit model-following technique, using a combination of non-linear inversion (NDI) and LQ synthesis. This technique allows us to cover a wide flight envelope without the problem of gain scheduling. It also aims at better re-usability of the controller on different airframes. Here, it is tested on a set of typical manoeuvres at different operating points.
