SummaryA study of the comparative kinetics of standardS.uvarum ATCC 26602 withS.cerevisiae Y-10 (an isolate) and a highly flocculent strain ofS.uvarum in batch mode has shown that both the isolate and the highly flocculentS.uvarum strain have more desirable characteristics than the standard strains for ethanol production from cane molasses.
