Scheduling optimization of microgrid considering electric vehicles

The application of microgrid is reaching to a wider field, and the technology of electric vehicles (EVs) is gradually becoming mature. Aiming at improving economical and reliable operation of microgrid, an optimal model of microgrid with EV is established. Mixed integer programming is selected to optimize the calculation, then to calculate the optimal output of each distributed generation (DG). Two modes are discussed: one is connected mode and the other is microgrid with EV mode. A strategy is proposed to let EV participate in dispatcher of microgrid. Simulation results indicate that the optimal strategy can guarantee the reliability of microgrid efficiently under the two cases. Meanwhile, the strategy with EV is more economic, proving that the optimal mode can work effectively.
