Simulation analysis of vehicle pollutants dispersion in Zhenjiang

Based on measuring data of vehicle emission and special geographical and meteorological conditions of Zhenjiang, CO and NO_x concentration distributions of daily average and rush hour in the main street were simulated with CALINE4(California Line Source Dispersion Model-4). The simulated results indicate that NO_x concentration will be much higher under worse meteorological conditions. It can also be manifested that vehicle pollutant concentrations in the streets with buildings in both sides are 2 ～ 4 times higher than that without buildings. The research results will be helpful for evaluating and preventing vehicle emission pollution in Zhenjiang.
