We discussed the problem of determining the theoretical interrelations in generalized thermomechanical diagrams of alloys possessing the shape memory effect (the principal stress-strain characteristics) for cases of simple loading with a preset deformation produced by tension, compression, and torsion. The results of experimental studies for checking the proposed calculation relationships are given. The experimental technique for constructing a generalized thermomechanical diagram of materials with the shape memory effect for a specified torsional deformation, with due regard for nonlinearity is also proposed.
