Psychoanalytic Study of the Child

There is a wealth of experimental observation, some of it available previously only in Russian. The subjects were most often dogs and cats, but there are many pertinent observations on the behaviour of children and patients deprived of one of the senses with which images of the outside world are formed -blind people, deaf-mutes, and patients with disorders of development of some central nervous structures. It is very likely that this book contains something of interest and something to think about for every neurologist, psychologist, and physiologist.
