EDS — Collaborating For a High Performance Parallel Relational Database

A major goal of the EDS project is the production of a high performance, highly parallel database server, which will also offer extended capability to the programmer. The development of this system is a major task for which the companies involved find collaboration to be essential. This paper shows the extent and advanced nature of the work and demonstrates how effectively this collaboration is succeeding.
