Design of Vehicle Remote Monitoring System Based on 4G and FlexRay

To solve the problem of remote monitoring of vehicle equipment, a vehicle remote monitoring system based on 4G and FlexRay was designed. Based on the analysis of FlexRay bus and 4G which are two kinds of heterogeneous network protocols, the paper take a method that use embedded gateway to make the two heterogeneous networks interconnect and communicate. Firstly the vehicle data collected by the FlexRay vehicle bus is sent to the server by the 4G module. Then the Android terminal is connected to the serve. Finally the monitoring of vehicle data is completed by the Android client. Tests show that the system transmits data accurately and reliably.
