Hyperspectral image resolution enhancement by using spectral ratio and guided filter

In this paper, hyperspectral resolution enhancement approach is proposed based on spectral ratio and guided filter. Hyperspectral image bands are being filtered by the guidance of multispectral bands. Then resolution enhancement is performed on filtered hyperspectral bands by using the spectral ratio. The proposed method is tested on real hyperspectral images. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the similar sharpening method in the literature.
