The invention provides a GIS (gas insulated switchgear) ultrahigh frequency local discharge detection simulation system which comprises a signal acquisition module used for collecting electric signals generated by GIS equipment of each of transformer substations so as to obtain test data, and saving the test data into system configuration files of the transformer substations; a storage database used for saving the system configuration files in real time; a data processing module used for extracting test data from the saved system configuration files, judging local discharge signals according to a preset detection threshold, recording peak values of the local discharge signals and calculating a local discharge rate; and a data display module used for obtaining the peak values and the discharge rate of the local discharge signals, and generating parameter data related to the GIS equipment from the peak values and the discharge rate for display. According to the technology provided by the invention, the physical characteristics of a GIS ultrahigh frequency local discharge detection instrument can be simulated, digital simulation can be implemented, and the GIS ultrahigh frequency local discharge detection simulation system is suitable for experiment and training on a simulation platform of a power system.
