Transformer Linear Section Model Order Reduction with an Improved Pole Clustering

This paper presents a reduction technique which was the detailed lumped parameter linear transformer model order as a starting point and allows its reductions to any size of the model order specified by the user. An improved clustering algorithm is employed in the proposed method to obtain the reduced order denominator polynomial. The reduced order numerator polynomial is obtained with the simple mathematical calculation as mentioned in the proposed scenario. The improved clustering algorithm guaranteed the stability in the reduced order model and also preserves the characteristics of the original system in the approximated one.
