Research on Control Strategy of Multi-energy Complementary Isolated Power System

Multi-energy complementary isolated power system is an effective solution for remote area power supply.A kind of comprehensive control strategy was proposed for a complementary isolated power system consisting of photovoltaic,energy storage device,hydro generator,and diesel generator in Tibet Ali area.The control strategy combined the improved PQ droop control strategy for PV station with the output power loop control.To realize different control objectives,two kinds of output power loop control strategy were designed.The simulation models of the isolated power system and the strategy were established with the software of DIgSILENT/PowerFactory.The grid dynamic response under different control strategies was analyzed,and the capability of PV station to support independently the isolated system under the V/f response output power loop control strategy was further studied.The simulation results show that the system can quickly track the dynamic response change,the voltage and frequency both can reliably and quickly recover to the normal level when light intensity change suddenly and large capacity equipment start or stop.
