Research Test Results of Low Voltage Electric Traction Drive for Commercial Electric Vehicle

Electric vehicles are safe, energy efficient and offer a range of operational benefits that are especially relevant in commercial operations. The parameters of the powertrain affect the characteristics of vehicles significantly. The main purpose of this paper is to find the correlation between the documentation data and the experimental data. The traction electric drive of light electric vehicles is used an object of research. In order to carry out acceptance control of the traction electric drive, experimental studies of the main technical characteristics of this system are prepared. A complex test bench for this purposes is created, and a program with methodology for testing has been developed. The paper analyzes the results of the practical implementation of bench test equipment, test results with relation to manufacturer’s data for ideal and real power source are performed.
