Methodological Issues in Empirical Cross-cultural Research: A Survey of the Management Literature

■ Comparative empirical research methodology has been the subject of analysis and study for the past three decades. Several problems and issues however still remain largely intractable or often ignored. ■ This article reviews and classifies key studies and concerns in the field, offers appropriate remedies, and develops a detailed process framework for creating sound cross-cultural research methodology designs.
