In order to study the discontinuity of geological structure, the C3 coherence algorithm was compared with C2 algorithm. The detection data were analyzed by the two kinds of coherence algorithm to diagnose the crack distribution of geological structure. After the model and practical detecting data computation, the results show that C2 and C3 coherence algorithms have higher resolution power and better robust to noise, but the lateral resolution power of C3 coherence algorithm is higher than the resolution power of C2 algorithm, they are valid methods for detecting discontinuity and defect of geological structure, road and bridge. 7 figs, 6 refs.
