A Dual-Band Microstrip-Fed Bow-Tie Antenna for GSM/CDMA and 3G/WLAN

A dual-band microstrip-fed bow-tie antenna printed on dielectric substrate of epsivr =2. 2 is designed to operate at the GSM/CDMA bands from 800MHz to 960MHz and the 3G/WLAN bands from 1.7GHz to 2. 5GHz. This novel antenna exhibits good performances as desired in mobile telecommunication applications. The designed bow-tie antenna was fabricated and measured, showing a good agreement with the simulation results.
