ConclusionsThe results of the measurements of the fluctuations in the light intensity show that:1)In the region of weak fluctuations, as shown by theory, there is no difference between the character of the fluctuations of monochromatic light and that of the fluctuations of white light;2)The difference between the variance of the fluctuation in the logarithm of the intensity and the angle of arrival for plane waves and the variance for spherical waves agrees well with theory;3)In the region of strong fluctuations, the saturation of the fluctuations of monochromatic light has the same character as for white light;4)In the region of strong fluctuations in the intensity of monochromatic light, there is a departure from the log-normal law in the direction of deeper fading of the signal.
