Exploring Large-scale Acquisition of Multilingual Semantic Models for Predicates

We investigate the posibility to obtain large-scale semantic patterns for any language based only on shallow parsing and some basic semantic generalizations. Being this a exploratory experiment we performed only a qualitative evaluation. We compared several semantic patterns coming from translation equivalent verbs selected from different languages and domains.
